WDM Coupler 1310/1550nm - Ultra-High Isolation

This WDM coupler module with ultra-high isolation is constructed using two cascaded single-stage WDM couplers. The isolation between 1310nm and 1550nm channels are greatly increased, compared to single WDM couplers, with 45dB isolation achieved. This module is particularly useful for WDM communication systems that require high isolation. It is a critical component to enable the doubling of the bandwidth of an existing single-wavelength optical link, or bi-directional transmission over a single optical fiber. This module has wide applications in upgrading optical networks, expanding network bandwidth and introducing new fiber local area network services.
