This is a thin-film based WDM coupler that combines 1455nm and 1550nm wavelengths. This coupler is designed to handle up to 5W continuous wave optical power, and is suitable for applications in Raman amplifiers, or nonlinear systems where high optical power is required at 1455nm. Its pass band widths at 1455nm and 1550nm are 20nm and 40nm, respectively, which is much wider than standard fused fiber WDM couplers.
