This avalanche photodiode (APD) has a planar InGaAs detector. It provides photon detection with high bandwidth and high optical sensitivity. The multiplication factor of this APD is 25 or higher.

The cut-off frequency of this APD is 2 GHz, and it is suitable for optical fiber communication systems.

Single mode fiber pigtails or multimode fiber pigtails are available.
