Media Converter - 10/100/1000Mbps, Single Mode or Multimode

Media converter is a simple network device that connects two different media type - twisted pair cable and optical fiber cable. The device supports protocols such as Ethernet. It is normally used to extend the reach of LAN to as far as one hundred km.

Available options:

• UTP cable: Cat 5e or Cat 6(maximum length 100m)
• Optical fiber: multimode, 50/125 or 62.5/125μm (maximum reach up to 550/224m)
• Optical fiber: single mode, 8.3/125, 8.7/125, or 9/125μm SMF (maximum reach 100km)
