OPM-09 series of optical power meter are compact instruments. It has an InGaAs detector and covers wavelength from 800nm to 1650nm. It has a display resolution of 0.01dB and has up to 66dB measurement range on optical power. Two different models are provided to suit requirements on optical power measurement. The power meter also has a universal optical adapter that can easily connect to FC, SC and ST connectors.

OPM-09 mini handheld optical power meter has recently been upgraded with several additional features. Firstly, its measurement range is expanded, especially for type A product, from -60~+3dBm to -60~+10dBm. This is the power range that used in most optical communication networks. The power range of type B model is also expand to -40~+26dBm, which is more suitable for relatively high power measurement. Secondly, the power meter can now detect 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz modulation tone often used by other fiber optical instruments. This can be useful in fiber identification.

This product is an ideal low-cost choice for optical fiber field maintenance and lab applications.
