Single-mode PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuits) splitters are developed using silica glass waveguide circuits and aligned fiber pigtails, integrated inside a miniature package. PLC splitters provide low-cost solution for optical signal distribution, with small form factor and superb reliability. These PLC devices have high quality performance, such as low insertion loss, low PDL, high return loss and excellent uniformity over a wide wavelength range from 1280 nm to 1650 nm, and work in temperature from -40?C to +85?C.
The PLCs devices have 1x4, 1x8, 1x16, 1x32, 1x64 and 1x128 standard configurations, as well as customized structures of 2x4, to 2x128. These products meet or exceed Telcordia GR-1209-CORE and GR-1221-CORE reliability qualification requirement.
Two types of package are available: compact steel tube package or robust ABS module box package.

c: Fiber Pigtail Type of the output; c=0 for ribbon fiber; c=1 for fan-out splitter with 0.9mm loose tube pigtail, c=2 for 2mm jacket pigtail, c=3 for 3mm jacket pigtail, etc.
d: Connector Type, d=FA for FC/APC, d=SU for SC/UPC, d=N for no connectors, etc.
f: Package type. F=0 for steel tube package bare fiber; f=1 for steel tube package 900mm loose tube; f=2 for ABS module package; f=3 for cassette type module package.
