These two filter-based WDM couplers combine or separate 980nm or 1480nm with C+L band (1520~1600nm). Using these WDMs, wideband Erbium doped fiber amplifiers can be constructured. The WDMs combines the pump laser from 980nm diode or 1480nm diode. Its signal band covers a wide range of wavelengths for both C and L bands. Hence, wide band amplification can be achieved.
